Cynthia E. Ringel began her legal career as a Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable Robert F. Cavanaugh, J.S.C. and Frances L. Antonin, J.S.C.  Ms. Ringel was also selected as the interim law clerk for the Presiding Judge Elaine L. Davis, P.J.S.C.  During her clerkship, Ms. Ringel became a court certified mediator and successfully resolved hundreds of cases.
 
Ms. Ringel joined Jasinski, P.C. after practicing in the litigation department of a major New York law firm.  She has extensive experience representing companies and insurance carriers in all areas of labor and employment law, civil litigation, and workers’ compensation.  Ms. Ringel regularly defends claims filed in federal, state and administrative courts, as well as agencies such as the Department of Labor, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and Workers’ Compensation Board.  A significant amount of her time is devoted to counseling clients on matters involving the employer-employee relationship and independent contractor status.  Ms. Ringel makes frequent court appearances in order to shield companies from liability on classification issues.  She also assists companies in preparing for and responding to governmental audits and investigations, and provides representation throughout the process.  Ms. Ringel also works with clients to draft and update agreements, policies and procedures, and conducts training on a wide-range of employment and non-employment issues.
 
Ms. Ringel earned her Bachelor’s degree from Ohio University, cum laude, and Juris Doctorate degree from Seton Hall University School of Law.  While attending law school, Ms. Ringel was awarded a federal judicial internship for the Honorable Nicholas H. Politan, U.S.D.J.  Ms. Ringel is admitted to practice law in the federal and state courts of New Jersey and New York, and handles matters throughout the United States.
